How can I lose weight fast?

I'm 18 years old, and incredibly self conscious. I know that I'm not fat. I'm 5'9" and I weight 157. But my mid section is pudgy, and I'm really uncomfortable. There isn't a single day where I just feel good about myself because I'm always worried about my stomach. Since graduating from high school, I've gained at least 20 pounds. I was a swimmer and water polo player, and after graduation, my exercise level seriously decreased. Although, once starting school at UCSD, I did a lot of walking to get to class, so I lost about 5 pounds. But I want to lose 27 pounds. I'd love to weight 130, or even 135, but 157 is just way too much. I have 8 weeks until school starts, and I'd like to look and feel good when I go back. I've been pretty active this summer teaching swim lessons and babysitting (and we go a lot of places, like the Zoo and Sea World), so I'm getting some exercise. But I need to motivate myself to get more. Any ideas for super fast and effective weight loss?? HELP!

Start with motivation.. picture yourself in perfect shape in a nice swin suit or a sexy dress or something!! Then realize you will have to work to get there.

Then, tune up your diet. Stop munching on cookies, chips, candy and chicken fingers. Try eating veggies and fruits and whole grains… this will help with the pudgy midsection.

Now you have to tone up, which you know from sports. Try excersizing for 25 minutes a day.. biking, running etc. to get your cardio up, and then do some toning… lifting weights, yoga, anything!

Just remember, avoid procrastinating, b/c changes don't happen overnight! and keep motivated…. best of luck!

How Can One Loss Weight Fast - Without Dieting Or Eating Diet Pills?

I have tried all sort of "Fats Loss" products and most of them advocate a "Low fat, Low carb, Low Calorie" programs.

I have tried but could not maintain for long because it is really tough to maintain and results I'm getting is not ideal though I am dieting hard!

Can anyone advise is there any ways to "Loss Fats" without dieting or eating diet pills?

go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.
I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!

How well does Alli Weight Loss system work, is it worth it?

Is it worth it? Does it cause you to have much more bowel movements? How fast can you loose weight?

The Alli pill is about 1/2 the strength of the prescription weight loss pill that doesnt work. And it costs alot of money to. I used a plan called Shapeworks, which showed me how to eat, and I lost 95 lbs in 8 months using it, kept it off for over 5 1/2 years now. If you are going to spend money on something, Shapeworks would be worth the money for you to check out.

Can someone suggest safe weight loss?

I am a 17 year old girl and my doctor suggests I try and lose some weight. I would like to do this as safely as possible. (I mean actual fat loss.) Does anyone know how much I would need to exercise at a gym and for how long to lose at least three pounds, keeping in mind a healthy diet as well?

okay first as far as i am concerned…to lose weight, you need to love how you look first…beauty and the object of change comes from within and if you dont feel like you are beautiful i can say for certian you wont lose any weight. You are beautiful the way you are…
As for losing weight safely, its hard…you need to eat less and more often. small meals ever couple hours will boost you metablism. Excersing take it easy and start off slow. Take a walk everyday and the same time. After 1 week start walking 2 or 3 times a day. Walk about a mile or so… Then after another week speed walk, dont lift weights unless you want huge man muscles. If you really dont want to do it by yourself, join weight watchers (they are very cheap and they give lots of help) or join curves its a womens gym the cater to our needs (they are also very cheap for a membership and the assistants are really nice)
If you start losing weight like more then 3 pounds a week, its not that its not healthy its just it could hurt your system, so if you come to one week where you've lost 7 or 8 pounds its no big deal.
I hope this helps you, i know what its like to be told by my doctor that i should lose some weight. This is what I did. But i wasnt happy with me because of my self confidence issues. I dont know about you…if you need any support please contact me…i will give you words of wisdom from someone who has been in your place and done what your doing. Its going to be hard but I know you can do it. So far i have lost 40 lbs. and still going strong. I was 200lbs. and now i am a more healthy and happy 160lbs.

Can you help me out with my fast weight loss plan?

I’ma girl, 20 years old. I’m 5′3″ and 128lbs (just over 9 stone). I haven’t been happy with my weight for a long, long time. Its my own fault really, lacking in motivation and get-up and go. Really I’ve just had enough and I want to lose a stone or more for anoccasionn I have coming up in October, so I’ve devised my own weight loss plan. Now before I tell you, I know that it’s probably not the healthiest, I know that the guideline weight loss is 2lb a week, I know all of that. I’m just looking for facts here, not criticism.
My plan is this: (7 days a week) To get up in the mornings and walk for an hour with my doggy.. Then to do an hour on my exercise bike.. And an hour of yoga.. This is teamed with a dramatic cut in calories to, like, 600-700 a day (unhealthy blah blah). I have slow metabolism.
Basically I just wanna know stuff like: how much people think this would make me lose and in what space of time?

Well, the FACTS are that doing a diet under 1000 calories a day is not only dangerous, but won’t work very well for weight loss either.

On a super-low-calorie diet, without medical supervision, you’re quite likely to pass out. Now, unless you’re a long-term anorexic, that won’t kill you, but it’s annoying and embarassing, especially if you end up in the hospital.

As for weight loss, if you already know you have slow metabolism, putting yourself on a super-low-cal diet will stop your metabolism in its tracks. The weight will stubbornly hang on as your body desperately tries to fight you… then when eventually your willpower wins out over your health, you’ll lose about twenty pounds… then when you can no longer continue and HAVE to eat again, you’ll regain MORE than twenty pounds. Happens to just about everybody if they overdo diets… because you damage your metabolism, so you end up gaining more than you lost.

If you have a special occasion in mind, there are fancy body-wrap things that will remove the water from your body and slim you down temporarily. Very handy if you just want to fit into a dress for one night.

i have a wedding to go to in 1months time and cant fit into my dress how can i llose weight super fast without starving myself?!!!

Hey, this is what I tell everybody about losing some type of weight or the other. First of all, NEVER use drugs, medications, or any other things that you would have to take in order to lose weight, unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. (Like if you were about to die or something) Drugs may be helpful and will do the job, but let me explain to you why this is such a bad idea. Let's say you take some drugs, to help you lose some weight. There are some very nasty side effects for using such hazardous remedies. All medications are different, but all include things like headaches, nausea, tiredness, fainting, and many other side effects that you here on those commercials that advertise a drug or medicine and then quickly list all the bad side affects, like some of those episodes on The Simpson's. Not only will drugs wear you down, but taking drugs to lose weight have been known to make you lose weight, but once you're off the drug, you start gaining weight again. With normal exercising, you have to practice certain things, such as exercising daily, eating nasty vegetables and staying away from things with excessive fat. With drugs, you don't practice any of that and you start gaining weight again because you just go back to your dietary methods as before. Then you end up getting larger again and you're back where you started. As happy and perfect as they seem on commercials, drugs and medications are just the wrong path to take to lose weight.

Never ever ever ever ever ever ever become anorexic or bulimic. Not only is it bad for you, it tires you out and if people find out they'll think you're a freak. It's better to eat 10 lb of meat a day for a year than to become anorexic or bulimic.

1) You always need to exercise, everybody knows it. The hardest part is the how. On your first day of running or something you're not going to be able to get up early in the morning and run for 3 miles. You have to be prepared or else you might think it is too hard to handle. First of all you need a good breakfast. Skipping or eating scrawny breakfasts of a piece of toast or something isn't going to cut it. Eat some fruit, like some apples, oranges, or bananas, drink some milk and orange juice, and other healthy breakfast like things. Whatever you do, don't go off with the day on an empty stomach. Scientists say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, in that it gives you all the energy you need for the rest of the day. Before you go running or exercising, be sure to bring a water bottle. I-pods help too or other things like MP3s. If running is too hard to do near where you live, go to a place that has exercising equipment. Don't like running? You can still lose loads of weight by doing push-ups, curl-ups, or lifting weights. It really helps to take ballet or maybe buy videos with Pilate's dancing or yoga.

2) Eating healthy is also very important to lose weight. Always try and eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Fruits taste good and are sweet, but some vegetables (especially the ones that are super good for you) taste really bad to some people. An easy way to get used to these bitter, nasty, evil veggies is to eat a tiny amount of the veggie that you really don't like every day or week for a long time. After awhile, you will get used to the taste and will start to be OK with eating that vegetable. Just because you're on a diet, doesn't mean that you've just turned vegan or vegetarian. You still have to eat meat. Just not as much of it. Whatever you do, don't skip meals and eat properly with lots of fruits and veggies and this will help you lose weight very fast. When you're eating, try to eat slowly and you will get full faster. That way, you will eat much less.

3) Another great way to lose weight is to do activities like sports or physical games that make you move. Swimming, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, and all other sports are great ways to lose weight. It's like a bonus–lose weight, have fun. Or you can look around on the Internet for weight loss programs or places that have exercising equipment that will surely help you lose weight.

If you follow these instructions on how to lose weight, you will see the difference for yourself in no time.

You are 5'5 and weigh 115 lbs? You are at a healthy weight.

You might consider light weight lifting for toning. Please don't lose any weight, you don't need to.

Are there any safe weight loss products I can take? I cannot tolerate caffeine or stimulants.?

Just one cup of tea makes my heart act up. I am afraid of most weight loss products, since they contain stimulants. Is there anything that works that will not give me tachycardia or make me very weak?
I am also hypothyroid. I take medicine for it, but it has not helped me lose weight. Every time I do a regular exercise program, I gain weight.

Wow. Have you ever heard of products called Isagenix. My mom is 55 years old and she has released over 40 pounds (in 9 weeks) and gone from a size 14 to an 8 with these products. She looks and feels so good. They really work and are so good for you. And they have no caffeine or stimulants in them. What is a good weight loss plan that works fast?

Ok I'm a 19 year old male, about 5' 5'' and 190 pounds. I want to lose weight even if it not really fast, but the faster the better. i have fat in my stomach, thighs, and chest. i need a list of foods to eat and foods to avoid, besides fruits and veggies which i already eat. I also need an exercise plan to go with it. I wont have a problem sticking to it either. Thanks for your help.

loss weight super fast..?

Okay here goes, you are going to need to focus entirely on your diet. Make a salad before you go to sleep, enough for at least 3 servings the next day. You basically want to eat the following.
Good protein, this means lean cuts of meat, fish or vegetarian substitutes.
Good carbs, this means slow burning carbs whole grain things.
Good fats, this means olive oil, fish oil and flax seeds, and small amounts of nuts.

Okay now let's set you up for success. You are going to need to eat 5 times a day, and drink nothing but water (1 caffeinated beverage in the morning is ok and 1 low sodium V8 is good) have a bottle of water with you everywhere you go, work, school, when driving places, by your bed etc.
OK feedings
1) Breakfast this is when you want to get those carbs in, oatmeal is a great breakfast item add a couple of eggs and drink your V8 or caffeinated beverage now.
2) Snack AM this is a good time to have a salad try to have italian or balsamic dressing and if possible some kind of lean protein with it, also have some spinach, or broccolli.
3) Lunch make a healthy sandwich lean meat, whole grain bread (no mayo, no ranch, easy on the ketchup) and again more veggies.
4) Snack PM nows the time to have fruits and nuts have a small amount of each, blueberries are the best option for fruits and almonds are the best option for nuts, you can have some low-fat cottage cheese with it and mix it all up (don't go crazy on the cottage cheese though.
5) Dinner keep this really simple a fist size portion of lean meat and two fist size portions of veggies (green and red veggies)

If you want to see weight loss quicker go for a nice little walk in the morning don't try to kill yourself, just walk for 30-45 minutes.

Now you may notice that most of this can be prepared a day before hand, which is a great thing so you won't have to stop at any food stores which leads to giving into temptation.

I know this may sound hard, but you are worth it and your boyfriend will be impressed with the results.
